North Central Indiana Sand Volleyball Club (NCISVBC) was founded in the Summer of 2015 to enable a couple of young volleyball players the opportunity to play beach volleyball and to help them develop skills for their indoor seasons.
Having coached at Performance Point for many years after coaching for the Logan Juniors and Pioneer Panther volleyball clubs, I decided to extend my beach club indoors to provide some Performance Point kids the chance to finish out their HS club careers after Point had to close it’s doors. This past season was the third and each team has had Point kids finishing out their careers (along with other kids too!!!). We have maintained our focus on keeping club volleyball affordable. Facilities and Coaching are what they are, but everything is kept “at cost”. We are also trying to stay within a 4 hour drive for the majority of our tournaments and many of our tournaments are in Indy. We are a USAV member club and many of our teams will participate in the USAV Qualifiers that are in close proximity to Lafayette. We are also registered with AAU in case we want to participate in AAU tournaments, but mainly for their insurance that is provided to member clubs. And we are a JVA club as we feel that supporting the various groups promoting volleyball is a good thing. Finally, we are a member of the AVCA and support their goals as well.
